Thank You For Selecting Us.
Mission statements can be very difficult to formulate.
We know, through experience a mission statement can take a knowing
that is hard to reach. Through discovery, asking
"When we know our Life's Purpose,
what are we doing?" or to personalize it
"When I am Living my Life's Purpose,
what am I doing?"
is a very powerful tool to help arrive at a
mission statement. Try it over the next couple of weeks and see
what develops. Create a playbook using any kind of a bound edged
book. You can find them anywhere school supplies are found. Keep
asking the question over and over, writing down the answer. Use
all of your senses. Sight, Sound, Touch, Smell, Taste, and Intuition.
Draw pictures, find recordings, record your voice, what kinds
of foods do you like, what specific aromas appeal to you? If you
can't draw find pictures, cut and glue them into the book.
You must be totally honest as you put entries
in. If they include profanity add them. You will find that some
of your most emotional epiphanies will come from highly charged
words and images. Each morning ask the question and put something
in your Playbook. At a break during the day. Finally at night
before retiring. Do not judge the answers, just keep writing every
day for 10 - 14 days. Do not stop at all at least until you have
hit 7 to 10 days. The longer you add, the stronger the confirmation
will be.
The editing part will not be necessary until
you have a knowing rather than a belief of what your life purpose
is. Your intuition will begin to speak up when you have enough
material. Review the whole book after the week or two are over.
What do you sense? What recurring theme is present? Try creating
a word list of each page. What story are they telling?
Good Luck and happy discovery.
